Charwich-Koniinge Letters
by Charwich and Koniinge
Letters sent between Charwich and Koniinge about their search for Azura’s Star

Mysteriously addressed to a Lord Gemyn, this last letter is penned by a rather greedy and fawning estate banker by the name of Syrix Goinithi. While the Dragonborn may at first be confused as to why this letter is included in the series, by the end a most interesting turn of events is detailed surrounding the last days of Charwich and Koniinge’s pursuit of Azura’s Star.

On The Great Collapse

on the great collapse

On the Great Collapse
by Arch-Mage Deneth
A letter from the Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold to the Jarl following the Great Collapse.

The Great Collapse was a major disaster in the city of Winterhold in 4E 122. Shortly before the collapse, the Sea of Ghosts came alive as monstrous waves battered the city, destroying entire districts. When the city collapsed into the sea, most of it was lost, save for the Jarl’s longhouse, a few surrounding houses, and the College of Winterhold, which was allegedly protected by magical means. This lead some Nords to suspect the College could have either been involved in the disaster or could have prevented it. Arch-Deneth pens this letter to Jarl Valdimar, carefully reminding him of the long standing relationship between the College and Winterhold, as a response to this discontent among the people.

Ghosts in the Storm
by Adonato Leotelli
Author’s tale of his encounter with the Falmer

After a most harrowing experience with the Falmer, it seems our friend Adonato has lost his taste for the adventurer’s life. While considered a work of fiction by many, the Dragonborn would be wise to take heed of the tactics and viciousness employed by the Falmer in this tale.

Scourge of the Gray Quarter

scourge of the grey quarter

Scourge of the Gray Quarter
by Frilgeth Horse-Breaker
A complaint on the presence and behavior of the growing Dunmer population of Skyrim

This rather xenophobic tract serves as social commentary on the Dunmeri-Argonian relationship from the point of view of Frilgeth, a very nationalistic Nord. Regardless of how the Dragonborn chooses to perceive the presence of the Dunmer in Skyrim, it can not be doubted that the influx of these people has become a source of contention among the common folk of the land.
