Battle of Sancre Tor

Battle of Sancre Tor

Battle of Sancre Tor
The story of how General Talos defeated the stronghold of Sancre Tor

The excellence and military prowess of Talos, destined to ascend to godhood, is first shown here at Sancre Tor. It was on this day as well that the loyalty of the Nord warriors and their generals was cemented. From Sancre Tor, they spread out and brought all of Tamriel to heel. A close reading of the battles will grant the Dragonborn insight into the use of Two Handed Weapons.

The Dragon War
by Torhal Bjorik
A religious text describing the primordial war between men and dragons

The connection between humans and dragons has a long and conflicted past. From worship, to loathing, back to fear and worship, this cycle has run since recorded history. It seems your place now Dragonborn, is to use the might that Akatosh once granted humans to again decide the fate of this relationship between us and them.

The Talos Mistake

The Talos Mistake
by Leonora Venatus
Imperial Liaison to the Aldmeri Dominion
Propaganda encouraging acceptance of the ban on the worship of Talos

When Tiber Septim passed to Aetherius, there came to be a Ninth Divine – Talos, also called Ysmir, the “Dragon of the North.” The man who was so loved in life became worshiped in death. This inspired humans in a new, and to the Aldmeri, dangerous way. If one human could ascend to godhood, could not they all? They moved quickly to outlaw the worship of Talos and this is but one piece of propaganda to justify that.
