2920, The Last Year of the First Era

Morning Star
by Carlovac Townway
Volume 1 of a historical series about Vivec and the Empire

In this first volume we meet a series of significant characters. Almalexia the prophet sets the wheels in motion. We learn of a plot by the Empress Tavia, and witness a gladiatorial contest between Prince Juliek and Savirien Chorak, son of the Akaviri Potentate. The indiscretions of the Duke of Mournhold also feature in the tale. The studious Dragonborn will find the description of the combat most informative, and no doubt come away with greater skill in the handling of One Handed Weapons.

Ancient Tales of the Dwemer, Part VI: Chimarvamidium
by Marobar Sul
Book 6 of a series of fictional stories about the Dwemer

In an ancient time when heavy armor was still rare and little understood, a tribe known as the Chimer is cleverly out maneuvered by its Dwemer foes. A careful reading of this tale will certainly leave the Dragonborn with a greater skill in Heavy Armor.

Note: There are two versions of this book in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. One is the Heavy Armor skill book, and the second is just a book. They have two distinct IDs but have the same content.

Rising Threat, Vol. I
by Lathenil of Sunhold
Volume one in the series of books about Thalmor

Citizens of Skyrim are well aware of the sinister machinations of the Thalmor. Some people, particular those loyal to the Empire, believe the Nord protestation against the Thalmor and the White Gold Concordat are merely excuses for war. Lathenil’s journal, a damning description of the Thalmor in four parts, tells us much to support the Nord assertion that the Thalmor, and by extension the Aldmeri Dominion, are not to be trusted. Perhaps the current civil war is not as unjustified as some would have us believe.
